Dhaka, 19 September 2026: United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) and BYD Bangladesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide special financing benefits to customers purchasing BYD vehicles.
Under the partnership, customers will have access to UCB Auto Loans at competitive interest rates, preferential offers on selected BYD vehicles, and faster loan processing and disbursement.
Customers will also be able to apply for UCB credit cards and access other retail banking products and services under the partnership.
BYD Bangladesh currently operates eight branches across Dhaka, Chattogram and Bogura, with four more expected to open soon.
The partnership is expected to make vehicle financing more convenient for BYD customers while strengthening collaboration between Bangladesh’s banking and automobile sectors.
