Bangladeshi nationals applying for Romanian visas will now have additional locations to submit their applications, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 8 December.
The Romanian Embassy in New Delhi, which typically handles visa submissions from Bangladesh, has notified through a diplomatic note that Bangladeshi applicants may also submit their visa files at Romania’s diplomatic missions in Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, and Bangkok.
The expanded access applies particularly to student visas and family reunification visas, providing applicants with greater flexibility and reduced processing bottlenecks.
The Ministry said the move is expected to ease the submission process for Bangladeshi travellers and students seeking long-term residency options in Romania.
