Dhaka, December 3, 2025: Trade International Industries Limited, the manufacturing unit of Bangladesh’s leading electronics company Electromart Group, has been honored as Best Manufacturer of the Year (Electronics) at the South Asian Business Excellence Award 2025.
The prestigious award was presented at the 9th South Asian Partnership Summit, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The award was received by the group’s Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nurul Afsar. This recognition was given for outstanding contributions to industry and business across seven South Asian countries — Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Pakistan.
Electromart Group initially began supplying Konka and Gree branded electronics and home appliances in Bangladesh. With growing customer demand, the company started its local manufacturing operations in Narayanganj in 2018. Currently, products from Konka, Gree, and the company’s own brand Haiko are being manufactured at the facility.
Md. Nurul Afsar stated that the award has increased their responsibility even further. He expressed sincere gratitude to their customers, buyers, and well-wishers for their continuous trust and support.
With technological collaboration from China, the group is now producing more advanced and environmentally friendly electronics for the local market. The Konka product line includes refrigerators, freezers, LED TVs, washing machines, ovens, and other kitchen appliances. The Gree range includes ceiling, wall-mounted, cassette, VRF, ducted, and chiller air conditioners, portable units, air purifiers, and other cooling solutions.
