Mobarak Hossain Rana has taken charge as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Paradise Land Development & Housing Ltd., marking a new chapter in the career of a senior business leader with more than two decades of experience across real estate, marketing, business development and operations.

Before joining Paradise Land Development & Housing as COO, Rana served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Universe Group, where he was responsible for enterprise-level marketing strategy, revenue growth initiatives, brand positioning, public relations and integrated media communications.
His career includes senior-level experience with several prominent Bangladeshi business groups and organisations, including Bashundhara Group, Ashiyan Group and Jamuna Future Park, as well as Paradise Cables, Purbachal NRB Homes and Purbachal Abhijat Valley.
His professional journey has covered a broad range of functions—from marketing and sales to business growth, commercial strategy, brand transformation, corporate communications and operational leadership. This cross-functional experience has positioned him to work across both the strategic and execution sides of businesses.
Rana has also received recognition during his career, including a Best Operational & PR Staff award from Bashundhara Group in 2007. His professional profile also records involvement in projects and campaigns associated with major real estate and commercial developments.
New responsibility at Paradise
Rana’s move to the COO position comes as Paradise Land Development & Housing Ltd. continues to develop its presence in Bangladesh’s housing and real estate market.
The company recently launched its Ashulia Urban City residential project, describing it as a planned and environmentally conscious housing development aimed at addressing the growing residential needs of urban communities. The project was formally inaugurated in January 2026 in the presence of the company’s Chairman Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director Lion Golam Mohammad Ali and Vice Chairman Mohammad Jashim Uddin, among other senior officials.
The company’s official profile says Vice Chairman Mohammad Jashim Uddin has been involved in acquiring more than 66 acres of vacant land for a state-of-the-art housing project, reflecting Paradise’s focus on expanding its land development portfolio.
