Dhaka, September 3, 2026: Travel company Firsttrip has organised its annual team retreat, “Beyond Boundaries 2026,” bringing together employees from different functions for a day focused on team bonding, collaboration and workplace engagement.

The retreat brought together teams from Brand & Marketing, Human Resources, Audit & Accounts, Reservations, Sales and Administration, providing employees an opportunity to step away from their regular responsibilities and connect with colleagues in a more informal environment.

The event featured a range of recreational and team-building activities, including football, tug-of-war, swimming and other games, alongside team performances, singing, dancing and stand-up comedy. The programme concluded with a raffle draw featuring prizes for employees.

According to a LinkedIn post shared by Firsttrip, the initiative was designed to go beyond entertainment and create stronger connections among employees by allowing colleagues to interact outside their usual professional roles.

The company highlighted the retreat as an opportunity for employees to better understand the people behind different roles and return to work with stronger relationships and shared experiences.

The initiative was supported by AKM Mahfuzul Alam, COO of Firsttrip, Mir Tajmul Hossain, Head of B2C Operations, and Mozammel Haque, HR, who were credited with taking the initiative to organise the retreat.

The company’s Brand & Marketing team also played a key role in the branding, planning and execution of the event.

The retreat reflects Firsttrip’s focus on building a workplace culture where employee engagement, collaboration and team relationships complement day-to-day business performance.

Under the theme “Beyond Boundaries 2026,” the event brought employees together beyond their usual departmental roles, reinforcing the idea of one team working toward shared goals.
