In his current role, Rahman is responsible for advancing the Electronics Division through a comprehensive operational and strategic mandate. He is leading global partnership development, supervising new product innovation, and strengthening SKD/CKD-based local manufacturing capacity. His oversight extends across sourcing, pricing strategy, distribution planning, brand positioning, and after-sales service design, ensuring that the electronics business aligns with Akij Group’s broader vision for both domestic and international growth.
Before joining Akij, Mostafezur Rahman served as the Country Manager for the Asia-Pacific region at AUX, where he achieved notable success by surpassing sales targets within a short period. His expertise in sales planning, channel development, and customer-centric strategy allowed AUX to secure stronger market traction despite the sector’s competitive nature. This achievement further reinforces his ability to execute high-impact commercial strategies under challenging circumstances.
Prior to his role at AUX, Rahman worked as the Category Head at Zaynax Group. There, he strengthened his analytical, forecasting, and vendor management capabilities, driving improvement in market alignment and delivering measurable performance enhancement across multiple product categories. His hands-on approach to data-driven decision-making and supplier coordination played a crucial role in ensuring consistent category growth.
Throughout his career, Md. Mostafezur Rahman has been committed to delivering long-term value through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and market-driven innovation. His appointment as COO is expected to accelerate Akij Group’s ongoing transformation within the electronics sector. Industry observers believe that his blend of commercial insight, operational discipline, and product-oriented thinking will play a pivotal role in elevating Akij’s competitiveness in the local electronics market while paving the way for future international expansion.
With Akij Group aiming to position itself as a stronger player in the electronics manufacturing landscape, Rahman’s leadership will likely be instrumental in shaping the company’s next phase of growth—strengthening capabilities, expanding product lines, and enhancing customer value in a rapidly evolving industry.
