Technonext Limited, a US-Bangla Group enterprise, has appointed fintech expert Anisul Islam as its Executive Director, marking a strategic step as the group expands into Bangladesh’s rapidly growing fintech sector following its acquisition of a Payment System Operator (PSO) license.
The company has also received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Bangladesh Bank, allowing it to operate under the newly secured license and further strengthen its position in the country’s digital payments ecosystem.
Anisul Islam brings over a decade of leadership experience in fintech, digital payments, and technology-driven platform businesses across multiple international markets. His career spans the development of digital payment systems and merchant-focused technology platforms supporting financial institutions, service providers, and emerging market ecosystems.
He began his professional journey with British American Tobacco Bangladesh, where he worked in corporate operations and commercial strategy. He later co-founded SSL Wireless and played a key role in launching SSLCOMMERZ, contributing significantly to the expansion of secure digital payment services in Bangladesh.
Over the years, he has held senior leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer of CloudWell Limited, where he led digital service expansion and merchant network growth, and Director and CEO of Dvive Limited, focusing on cross-border fintech infrastructure such as payments, remittance systems, and multi-currency platforms.
