United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Advanced Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences Ltd. to promote inclusive healthcare and enhance service delivery for people with disabilities.
The agreement was formally signed by Mohammad Salim Chowdhury on behalf of UCB and S.M. Toufiq representing AIRS, marking a collaborative effort to integrate financial services with specialized healthcare and education solutions.
Under the partnership, UCB will provide modern financial solutions to streamline AIRS’s operational processes, enabling more efficient management of its services. The collaboration will also support AIRS’s expansion initiatives in key areas such as hearing science, caregiving, and rehabilitation.
Officials noted that the initiative aims to improve access to quality care and contribute to better living standards for individuals with disabilities. By combining financial expertise with healthcare specialization, the partnership is expected to create a more inclusive and sustainable support system.
