Standard Chartered Bangladesh has partnered with MetLife Bangladesh to introduce an assistive benefits programme for employees with disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive workplace practices and employee well-being.
The initiative, formalized at a signing ceremony titled “Empowering Abilities,” aims to provide enhanced support for employees with physical, hearing, and visual disabilities. Under the programme, eligible employees can receive reimbursement for approved assistive devices of up to Tk3.5 lakh every three years.
The event was attended by senior officials, including Naser Ezaz Bijoy and Ala Ahmad, highlighting the importance of the collaboration in advancing inclusive corporate policies.
In addition to the assistive benefits, Standard Chartered has also expanded its overall healthcare coverage for all employees, reflecting a broader focus on workplace well-being.
Speaking at the অনুষ্ঠানে, Bijoy noted that the partnership aligns with the bank’s commitment to designing policies that cater to diverse employee needs. Meanwhile, Ahmad emphasized that the collaboration aims to strengthen insurance support while promoting a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
The initiative underscores a growing emphasis among leading organizations in Bangladesh on integrating inclusion into corporate strategy, ensuring safer and more equitable workplaces for all employees.
