Dhaka, 29 October 2026: Beximco Pharmaceuticals PLC has reported a net profit of Tk 899.8 crore for the 2025–26 financial year and recommended a 60% cash dividend for shareholders for the year ended 30 June 2026.
The company’s board has proposed the dividend, while the scheduling of its 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) remains dependent on the resolution of a legal matter concerning its previous AGM.
An application seeking condonation of the delay in holding the company’s 49th AGM is currently pending before the High Court. The hearing has concluded, and the court is scheduled to deliver its verdict on 1 November. Following the decision, the company will announce the dates, times and other details of its 49th and 50th AGMs in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Beximco Pharma has set 19 November as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive the proposed dividend.
The company’s financial indicators also showed year-on-year improvement. Consolidated earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk 20.17 in FY2025–26 from Tk 15.56 in the previous financial year.
Consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share increased to Tk 139.18 from Tk 119.04, while net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) climbed to Tk 21.33 from Tk 16.19.
Following the disclosure of the price-sensitive information on Thursday, Beximco Pharma’s shares recorded a modest gain on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. At around 10:30 am, the share price was up 0.28% at Tk 143.40.
The proposed dividend and improved financial indicators highlight the company’s performance during the year, although shareholders will have to await further announcements regarding the AGMs and the final dividend approval process.
