Dhaka, July 22, 2026: Hasnaeen Rizvi Rahman, Founder and CEO of AIT, has called on Bangladesh’s ready-made garments (RMG) industry to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) as a strategic business advantage, saying the sector’s future competitiveness will depend on how effectively companies integrate AI into their operations.
Speaking as a keynote speaker at the BAYLA Future Summit, Rahman said the global business landscape is evolving rapidly, with changing consumer expectations, intensifying competition, and technological advancements reshaping the apparel industry.
“The world is changing. Buyers are changing. Competition is changing. Technology is changing. And AI is changing everything,” he told the audience.
Addressing industry leaders, manufacturers, and stakeholders, Rahman emphasized that AI should no longer be viewed simply as another technology investment but as a critical driver of productivity, efficiency, and long-term business growth.
Drawing on AIT’s experience working with leading RMG manufacturers, he highlighted how practical AI solutions can help businesses overcome operational challenges, improve decision-making, and scale more efficiently.
He also noted that the next phase of Bangladesh’s apparel industry’s success will be led by companies that move beyond experimentation and successfully integrate AI into their everyday business operations.
According to Rahman, the future of Bangladesh’s RMG sector is already being shaped by organizations that are adopting innovation today rather than waiting for future technological shifts.
The BAYLA Future Summit brought together business leaders and industry experts to discuss emerging trends, innovation, and the future direction of Bangladesh’s garment industry in an increasingly digital and technology-driven global market.
