With the aim of nurturing students’ inherent creative talents, awakening aesthetic sensibilities, and shaping an art-minded generation, Al Ihsan Academy recently organized an Art and Painting Competition in a highly disciplined and colorful setting. As an important addition to the academy’s co-curricular activities, a large number of students from different grades participated enthusiastically, reflecting their keen interest and creative spirit. Once again, the institution demonstrated that creativity and artistic practice are integral parts of holistic education.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, which set a solemn and inspiring tone for the entire event. In his brief inaugural address, the Honorable Principal of the academy, Professor Mujibur Rahman Hawladar, said,
“Artistic practice not only enhances students’ creativity, but also enriches their thoughts, values, and humanistic outlook. There is no alternative to creative education in building a healthy and beautiful society.”
Speaking as the chief guest, Lieutenant Colonel Badrul Alam remarked,
“I am truly delighted and proud to be present at this Art and Painting Competition at Al Ihsan Academy. Today’s event proves that education is not complete if it is confined only to textbooks; rather, a balanced integration of art, literature, and creative practice is essential for a comprehensive and humane education system.”
Through drawings, colorful paintings, and various artistic creations, participating students expressed their imagination, emotions, and thoughts. The competition themes emphasized the beauty of nature, patriotism, moral education, social responsibility, and humanitarian values.
It is noteworthy that Al Ihsan Academy places special emphasis on co-curricular activities alongside academic education by integrating Islamic and modern learning. The Art and Painting Competition stands as a successful and commendable initiative, which, according to educators and organizers, will play a significant role in fostering students’ creativity.
Al Ihsan Academy conducts its educational activities in a safe, peaceful, and positive environment. Strengthening students’ faith (Iman), character (Akhlaq), and knowledge, ensuring the proper use of modern technology, and building a strong education system through close coordination among parents, teachers, and students remain the core objectives of the academy.
