Mastercard, Southeast Bank PLC, and SSL Commerz have jointly launched a co-branded SME credit card in Bangladesh for distributors of PepsiCo’s Transcom Beverages Limited. This is PepsiCo’s first initiative of this kind, offering distributors modern and secure digital payment solutions.
The card provides up to 45 days of interest-free credit, seamless digital payments, efficient financial management, and tailored business benefits. It can be customized to meet the distributors’ needs, boosting their purchasing power, strengthening credit management, and promoting digital financial inclusion for SMEs.
The launch event in Dhaka was attended by Md. Mahbub Alam (Deputy Managing Director, Southeast Bank), Syed Mohammad Kamal (Country Manager, Mastercard Bangladesh), Pranab Mehta (Managing Director, PepsiCo Bangladesh), and Saiful Islam (Managing Director, SSL Wireless), among others.
