Dhaka, 26 June 2026: Homegrown fintech startup Kisti is set to launch its zero-interest Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform in Bangladesh in August or September 2026, aiming to make flexible consumer financing more accessible while supporting merchants with instant payments.
The platform’s flagship offering, Pay in 4, will allow customers to split eligible purchases into four equal, interest-free installments. Merchants, meanwhile, will receive the full payment upfront, helping improve cash flow without requiring consumers to pay additional interest.
The company says the platform has been purpose-built for Bangladesh’s rapidly growing mobile financial services ecosystem, offering an alternative to traditional credit card-based installment solutions.
Expanding Financial Inclusion
Although Bangladesh has experienced rapid growth in digital payments and mobile financial services, access to formal consumer credit remains limited for a large segment of the population.
Kisti aims to address this gap by providing responsible, transparent, and interest-free installment financing through digital payment channels that consumers already use. According to the company, timely repayments will also help users establish a digital repayment history, potentially improving access to future financial services.
Benefits for Merchants
Kisti says its BNPL solution is designed to create value for both consumers and businesses by enabling:
- Interest-free installment payments for shoppers
- Upfront settlement for merchants
- Higher conversion rates and average order values
- A smoother checkout experience
The company positions the platform as a transparent financing solution with no hidden interest charges.
Regional Growth Ambitions
Founded by MD Tasin Tyson, Kisti is targeting not only Bangladesh but also broader Asian markets as part of its long-term expansion strategy.
“We’re not here to fit into the system. We’re here to change it. Kisti makes credit interest-free, transparent, and fair, and we’re starting in Bangladesh to take it across Asia,” said Tyson.
Following its Bangladesh launch, the fintech plans to explore expansion into markets including Nepal and Malaysia, where demand for digital consumer financing continues to grow.
With its upcoming launch, Kisti aims to position itself as a leading Buy Now, Pay Later platform in Bangladesh while contributing to greater financial inclusion through accessible, interest-free digital credit solutions.
