Dhaka: EDOTCO Group Bangladesh has announced the appointment of Al Batuni Mohammad Sayed Ahmed as its new Country Managing Director, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen local leadership and accelerate the development of Bangladesh’s digital infrastructure.
Al Batuni brings more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry to the role, including nearly 17 years with Ericsson, where he held various leadership positions and contributed to the advancement of telecom networks and digital transformation initiatives.
He succeeds Sunil Issac, who played a key role in expanding EDOTCO Bangladesh’s market footprint and strengthening the company’s infrastructure portfolio during his tenure.
