Mohsin Habib Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, marking a significant leadership transition at one of the country’s leading multinational paint manufacturers.
Chowdhury currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of the company, a role he has held since 2023. He joined Berger Paints in 1995 and has since built a long-standing career spanning nearly three decades within the organization.
Over the years, he has held several key leadership positions, including Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Senior General Manager, and General Manager of Sales and Marketing. His contributions across sales, marketing, and operational strategy have played a vital role in strengthening Berger’s market leadership and driving sustained business growth.
With more than 29 years of professional experience in the paint industry, Chowdhury is widely recognized for his expertise in marketing strategy, product development, and business operations. His leadership has also been instrumental in innovation initiatives and enhancing organizational capabilities within the company.
Industry observers view his appointment as a continuation of Berger’s strategy to promote experienced internal leadership, ensuring stability while advancing growth and innovation in Bangladesh’s competitive paints and coatings sector.
