iFarmer has secured $1.5 million in foreign funding from Symbiotics to strengthen Bangladesh’s agricultural value chain.
The investment will be used to expand working capital, improve agri-input distribution, and enhance market linkages for farmers, according to the company.
iFarmer said it plans to scale its platform, including KriShop, to improve farmers’ access to quality inputs and connect them with reliable buyers.
Founded in 2019, iFarmer currently serves more than 300,000 farmers and 24,000 retailers through integrated services that include financing, advisory support, supply chain solutions, and market connectivity.
The company said the fresh funding is expected to support its efforts to improve agricultural productivity, strengthen farmer incomes, and accelerate technology-driven transformation in the sector.
