Debasish Mazumdar has been appointed as the Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Meghna Re-Rolling & Steel Mills Ltd., a concern of Meghna Group of Industries.
The appointment comes as Meghna Group continues to expand its industrial and manufacturing operations, particularly in the steel sector, where the company has been investing in large-scale production capacity and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Industry insiders said Debasish Mazumdar brings extensive operational and manufacturing experience to the role and is expected to contribute to strengthening production efficiency, operational management, and strategic growth initiatives within the company’s steel business.
Meghna Re-Rolling & Steel Mills Ltd. is part of Meghna Group of Industries’ broader industrial portfolio, which includes operations in FMCG, cement, chemicals, steel, power, shipping, paper, and other sectors. The group currently operates more than 57 industrial units across Bangladesh.
