Dhaka, 16 October 2026: Farzana Qader has joined Dhaka Bank PLC as Head of Priority, Women & Alliance, taking on a leadership role covering priority banking, women-focused banking and alliance partnerships.
Qader brings experience in retail banking and partnership management. She previously served as Head of Retail Alliance & SME Banking at Eastern Bank PLC (EBL), according to her profile published by American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). She was also identified as Head of Retail Alliance in EBL’s partnership announcement with Sheba.xyz in September 2025.
Her experience in alliance management and banking services provides relevant background for her new responsibilities at Dhaka Bank.
The appointment comes as banks continue to develop specialised services for priority customers and women clients, while expanding partnerships to offer additional benefits and improve customer experience.
Qader holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management from AIUB, where her convocation year is listed as 2010.
Her appointment marks a new chapter in her banking career as she takes on responsibilities across priority banking, women’s banking and alliance development at Dhaka Bank.
