City Bank PLC has entered into a strategic partnership with Grameen HealthTech Limited to expand access to digital healthcare services across Bangladesh.
Under the collaboration, Shukhee—the digital healthcare platform operated by Grameen HealthTech—will be made available through City Bank’s service points and agent banking network. The initiative will enable customers to access on-demand doctor consultations with certified MBBS physicians, along with a range of healthcare packages, directly through City Bank agents.
The partnership aims to bring affordable and accessible healthcare services closer to communities, particularly in areas where access to medical support remains limited. Customers will be able to receive healthcare assistance for both routine medical needs and urgent situations through a more convenient and digitally connected platform.
Officials from both organizations noted that the initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and promoting technology-driven service delivery. By integrating financial and healthcare services, the collaboration seeks to simplify the patient experience while expanding the reach of essential medical support nationwide.
Industry observers believe the partnership highlights the growing role of banks and digital platforms in strengthening healthcare inclusion and accelerating access to quality services across Bangladesh.
