AkijBashir Cables, officially inaugurated 32 new sales centres simultaneously across key regions of the country on Sunday, February 1, 2026, through an online platform. For the first time in Bangladesh, AkijBashir Cables has introduced three-layer house wiring cables that are heat-resistant up to 105 degrees Celsius, offering enhanced safety and durability.
The virtual inauguration ceremony was attended by Taslim Mohammad Khan, Honorable Managing Director of AkijBashir Group; Mohammod Khourshed Alam, Chief Operating Officer; Dilruba Sharmin Khan, Director (Human Resources); Mohammad Zahid Hossain, Director (Finance & Accounts); and Mohammad Omar Faruke, Head of Business (Cables), along with other senior officials, business partners, dealers, and invited guests.
With the inauguration of these new sales centers, AkijBashir Cables has taken another significant step toward ensuring easy access to high-quality and safe electrical cables for customers across the country, including in remote areas.
Speakers at the event stated that AkijBashir Group has earned customer trust over the years through the use of modern technology and internationally standardized production processes. Continuing this legacy, AkijBashir Cables has recently commenced its manufacturing and marketing operations. The launch of 32 new sales centres is expected to further enhance customer service and significantly strengthen the dealer network.
Speaking at the event, Mohammod Khourshed Alam, Chief Operating Officer of AkijBashir Group, said:
