Dhaka — Akij Resource Limited has appointed Anika Shams as its new Head of Learning and Development, strengthening its leadership in talent strategy and organizational growth.

Anika brings nearly 15 years of experience across diverse sectors including FMCG, telecommunications, and ready-made garments (RMG). She is widely recognized for her expertise in strategic learning initiatives, succession planning, and data-driven talent management.

Prior to joining Akij Resource, she held key roles at leading multinational and local organizations, including H&M, Marico Bangladesh Limited, Banglalink, Coats, and Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited.

At Akij Resource, she is expected to lead initiatives focused on building future-ready workforce capabilities, enhancing leadership pipelines, and aligning learning strategies with business objectives.

The appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening human capital and fostering a culture of continuous learning to support long-term growth.
