Dubotech Digital Ltd., a portfolio company of Startup Bangladesh Limited, has been honoured with the ‘Startup of the Year’ award at the 12th National SME Entrepreneurship Award 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation (SME Foundation) under the Ministry of Industries.
The award recognizes Dubotech’s groundbreaking contributions to Bangladesh’s deep-tech landscape. From developing AI-powered underwater robotics to remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), the company has been at the forefront of technological solutions that support sectors such as the blue economy, marine technology, and industrial automation.
Startup Bangladesh Limited, the flagship venture capital company of the ICT Division, praised the achievement. The organization highlighted how founder Md. Mahfuzul Haque and his team are demonstrating that Bangladeshi innovation can excel both locally and globally.
The recognition is seen as a major milestone for the country’s innovation ecosystem—showcasing how homegrown startups are transforming scientific research into real-world applications.
