DHAKA, Bangladesh — Super Star Group has officially introduced FOX ESS, an international energy storage solutions brand, to the Bangladesh market, aiming to provide a reliable and long-term solution to the country’s persistent power supply challenges.
The newly launched system combines advanced lithium-ion battery technology and hybrid inverter solutions with solar power generation. It can store excess electricity generated through solar systems and provide backup power during outages, catering to residential, commercial and industrial users.
The launch ceremony was inaugurated by Tofael Ahmed, Additional Managing Director of Super Star Group, while Lucas (Liu Pu), Regional Manager for South Asia at FOX ESS, attended the event as a special guest.
Senior officials of Super Star Group were also present, including Chairman Md. Jalal Uddin, Managing Director Harun-Ar-Rashid, Vice Chairman Md. Mohiuddin, Deputy Managing Directors Sheikh Sadi Abdul Majid and Mahbubur Rahman, CFO Mohammad Aminul Islam, Sales Director Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Solar Division General Manager Ariful Islam, AGM Imran Hossain, and Marketing Division DGM Abdullah Al Mamun.
Speaking at the launch, Tofael Ahmed said the company aims to reduce the challenges associated with load shedding by providing customers with smart, reliable and internationally recognised energy management solutions.
The FOX ESS system is designed to support uninterrupted power availability by integrating solar generation, energy storage and intelligent power management. The technology is expected to offer businesses and households greater control over their energy consumption while reducing dependence on conventional backup systems.
The companies expressed optimism that the partnership between Super Star Group and FOX ESS will contribute to addressing Bangladesh’s energy challenges and support the country’s transition towards more efficient and sustainable power solutions.
With growing demand for reliable electricity across households, businesses and industries, the introduction of advanced energy storage technology could further accelerate the adoption of solar power and distributed energy solutions in Bangladesh.
