15 May, Dhaka — AkijBashir Group has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) to provide exclusive benefits and premium building material solutions to ESDO’s authorised members and stakeholders across Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, members of ESDO will gain access to AkijBashir Group’s nationwide “Selections” showroom platform, along with special offers, customised service support, and a wide range of premium construction and interior solutions.
The partnership will cover products including tiles, sanitaryware, faucets, boards, doors, and glass solutions from leading brands under the group such as AKIJ Ceramics, ROSA, Akij Board, Akij Door, and AkijBashir Glass.
Officials said the collaboration aims to make high-quality building materials more accessible while strengthening service delivery through an integrated retail and distribution ecosystem across the country.
Industry observers noted that the initiative reflects a growing trend of strategic partnerships between industrial groups and development organisations, aimed at improving accessibility, affordability, and service efficiency in Bangladesh’s construction materials sector.
Through this MoU, AkijBashir Group continues to expand its footprint in the country’s fast-growing building materials market, while ESDO members are expected to benefit from enhanced product availability and tailored customer support services nationwide.
