Ashraful Alam: A Freelancer Earning Over 5 Lakh Taka Monthly and Inspiring Thousands

Md. Ashraful Alam’s journey stands today as a powerful source of inspiration for thousands of young people. Through dedication, skill development, and strong leadership, he has built an admirable career in both freelancing and education.

He currently serves as the Principal of PenIT Technical Training Institute (PTTI), where his mission is to equip local youth with modern IT skills and prepare them to compete in the global freelancing market.

Established in its own multi-storey building, PenIT Technical Training Institute (PTTI) is one of the most reputed IT training centers in Ishwardi. The institute is approved by the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) under the Office of the Chief Adviser of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Most importantly, many young individuals trained under Ashraful are now earning sustainably and supporting their families—clear evidence of the real-world impact of his training.

Ashraful’s journey into technology began during his school years. In 2008, he started learning IT skills on his own through YouTube and various blogs. Later, in 2014, he moved to the city to pursue a Diploma in Civil Engineering, where he was first introduced to the world of freelancing.

In 2017, he created profiles on platforms like Upwork and began receiving regular work—especially through LinkedIn. Starting with lead generation and web research, he quickly gained international recognition due to his hard work, quality service, and strong client relationships.

Through income earned from freelancing, he successfully completed both his diploma and bachelor’s degree. Over time, he expanded his expertise into high-demand skills such as web design and search engine optimization (SEO). His perseverance and continuous learning have led to remarkable achievements—he currently sends over 5 lakh taka in remittance to Bangladesh every month.

With his earnings, Ashraful has purchased land, built a five-storey building in Ishwardi, Pabna, and secured several other assets, ensuring financial stability for his family.

According to Ashraful Alam, “Skill, patience, transparent communication with clients, and a mindset for continuous learning—these are the foundations for long-term success as a freelancer.”

Beyond his own achievements, he continues to transform countless young lives, empowering them to become skilled professionals capable of supporting their families with confidence.
