Additional investment in ACI CO-RO

ACI’s additional equity investment will be made in ACI CO-RO Bangladesh Ltd, its joint venture with Danish fruit beverage company CO-RO A/S.

Established in 2019 as a greenfield investment, the venture produces fruit-based beverages under CO-RO’s brand and quality standards for the Bangladeshi market.

The company opened its first modern manufacturing facility in Narayanganj in 2024.

New venture with Japan’s ICHINEN

Separately, ACI has approved the establishment of ACI-ICHINEN Bangladesh Ltd in partnership with Japan’s ICHINEN Holdings.

The proposed company will have an authorised capital of Tk50 crore, while its paid-up capital will stand at Tk15 crore.

ACI will hold a 60 percent stake in the new joint venture, subject to the necessary regulatory approval.

The venture is expected to combine ACI’s established local business network with ICHINEN’s international expertise in three areas: human resource development and manpower dispatch, motorcycle retail financing, and agriculture.

ACI’s business performance

ACI’s shares ended slightly lower at Tk182 on the DSE on Wednesday.

The company’s business performance also showed growth during the first nine months of fiscal year 2025-26.

Its turnover rose to Tk3,994 crore, compared with Tk3,442 crore recorded during the same period a year earlier.

During the same period, ACI’s profit increased to Tk368 crore, from Tk327 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
