Dhaka, 18 August 2026: Shukhee, the digital healthcare platform of Grameen HealthTech Limited, has announced a new initiative offering free mental health counselling to students, faculty and staff of North South University (NSU).
Under the initiative, members of the NSU community can access qualified counsellors and psychologists through Shukhee’s Instant Psychologist service using their NSU-registered mobile numbers.
The service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing users to seek professional mental health support remotely and at no cost.
The initiative is designed to make mental health support more accessible to the university community while encouraging students and staff to seek professional assistance when needed.
Through its digital healthcare platform, Shukhee aims to expand access to technology-enabled healthcare services and reduce barriers to seeking professional support.
The partnership also reflects the growing role of digital health platforms in delivering accessible mental healthcare, particularly for young people who may prefer confidential and remote consultations.
Shukhee said the initiative will enable the wider NSU community to connect with qualified mental health professionals conveniently, regardless of time or location.
