Dhaka: At a time when building an Amazon-focused business from Bangladesh was largely uncharted territory, Md Mainul Islam chose to pursue a path few could envision.

More than a decade ago, while studying law in London, Mainul discovered an emerging opportunity in the rapidly expanding world of global e-commerce. Although his academic training was in law, his professional ambitions gradually shifted toward digital marketing and Amazon marketplace services.

Today, he is the founder and chief executive of eSaviour Limited, an Amazon-focused creative agency with operations in both Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. The company currently works with more than 170 international brands, helping businesses improve their visibility, conversion rates, and brand presence on Amazon’s highly competitive marketplace.

Building expertise through real-world experience

Mainul began his entrepreneurial journey in 2014, at a time when Amazon-related educational resources and structured training programs were scarce in Bangladesh.

Instead of relying on formal courses, he developed his expertise through hands-on experience, working directly with clients and solving marketplace challenges as they emerged. Over time, this practical learning approach enabled him to gain deep knowledge of Amazon FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon), listing optimization, and marketplace growth strategies.

According to Mainul, understanding customer behavior and marketplace dynamics became the foundation for building sustainable results for clients operating in international markets.

Transforming product presentation into a growth strategy

Throughout his experience in the Amazon ecosystem, Mainul identified a common challenge faced by many sellers: quality products often struggled to gain traction because of weak presentation, while well-positioned products with strong visual branding frequently achieved better commercial success.

This observation shaped the foundation of eSaviour Limited’s business model.

The agency specializes in creating conversion-focused listing images, product packaging, Amazon storefronts, and visual branding assets designed to improve customer engagement and purchasing decisions.

Over the years, eSaviour has completed more than 1,300 projects for international clients, including globally recognized brands operating across multiple product categories.

Overcoming global business challenges from Bangladesh

Operating a global service business from Bangladesh presented a number of challenges, including time-zone differences, international client management, and establishing credibility in overseas markets.

However, through consistent service delivery and long-term client relationships, the company gradually expanded its footprint and demonstrated the capability of Bangladeshi professionals to compete in specialized global digital service sectors.

Industry observers note that the growth of agencies like eSaviour reflects the increasing role of Bangladesh in the international digital economy, particularly in high-value creative and e-commerce support services.

Focus on talent development and industry growth

Beyond business expansion, Mainul is now focusing on initiatives aimed at developing future talent and strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the global e-commerce ecosystem.

Among these initiatives is the Global Amazon Visual Benchmark Report 2026, a research-based resource intended to help sellers understand emerging design and marketplace trends. He is also working on the eSaviour Creative Academy, a training platform designed to equip young professionals with practical skills in Amazon creative services, branding, and e-commerce design.

The initiative aims to create new opportunities for Bangladeshi talent seeking careers in the global digital marketplace.

As Bangladesh continues to expand its footprint in technology-enabled services, entrepreneurs like Mainul Islam are demonstrating how local expertise can create value for international brands while contributing to the country’s growing digital export economy
