Dhaka, May 19, 2026 — Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, and Mastercard have jointly launched a range of co-branded debit and prepaid cards aimed at Berger dealers and painters across Bangladesh.

The initiative is designed to enhance financial inclusion and provide tailored banking solutions for dealers and painters by improving access to digital payments, banking services, and financial benefits.

Under the programme, cardholders will be able to make secure digital transactions and withdraw cash free of charge from Dutch-Bangla Bank’s ATM network. The initiative is also expected to help users build formal financial profiles, which may support future access to banking services, including loans and other financial products.

The prepaid card designed for painters will offer benefits through Mastercard’s Priceless Specials platform at more than 10,000 outlets nationwide. Users will also enjoy discounts on dining, healthcare, electronics, hotels, resorts, air tickets, and selected e-commerce platforms.

Meanwhile, the debit card introduced for Berger dealers includes dining privileges, retail discounts, hotel and resort offers, cashback facilities on selected contactless transactions, and seasonal promotional campaigns during Eid, Ramadan, and Durga Puja.

Officials said the partnership reflects a growing effort to bring traditionally underserved professional communities into the formal financial ecosystem through digital financial solutions and value-added banking services.

The cards were officially unveiled at a ceremony attended by Ahteshamul H Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC; Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited; and Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager of Mastercard Bangladesh, among others.

Industry insiders believe the initiative could help accelerate digital payment adoption among small business operators and skilled workers while strengthening financial accessibility in Bangladesh’s growing retail and construction ecosystem.
